Because of the high turnover rate for employees that many businesses are experiencing recently, some employees may not have been informed about the coupon. You may need to speak to a manager or the owner, if necessary. It may help to scan the QR code on the card with the bonus coupon listing and show them their coupon on our website. We have approval for all of the coupons printed on our cards and all bonus coupons listed on our website from the owner or manager of each participating business. Please practice kindness if you encounter a cashier that doesn't know anything about the coupon card and just ask for a manager. The coupon card and the digital coupon book are two completely different and separate coupon products.

Our digital coupon book has taken the place of our paper coupon books and can be found by downloading our app, Local Savings Coupons. It's free to download to preview all of the coupons available but an activation code is required to redeem the coupons. Our digital coupons are single-use coupons so each coupon can be redeemed just once.  Show your smartphone screen with your redeemed coupon to the cashier to redeem the coupon. 

Our coupon card is a physical card, about the size of a credit card that features 20 coupons printed on the card that can be redeemed by showing your card to the cashier.  This card ALSO gives you access to over 100 BONUS coupons that can be redeemed at any of the 100+ participating businesses, even though their coupon isn't printed on the card. To see the full list of bonus coupons available to redeem with the card, scan the QR code with your camera or go to localsavings.biz. The coupons available for this card are multi-use coupons. Every time you visit a participating business, you can use your card as long as the card is valid. Coupons are limited to one coupon per each business, per day.

To redeem digital coupons, you must first download our app, sign up with a username and password, and enter an activation code. You must purchase an activation code from a fundraiser. 

Once you're ready to redeem a coupon, press REDEEM COUPON. You will see a pop up box that will let you know that you're about to use a one-time use coupon, and to make sure you are ready to redeem it and show the cashier. When you press redeem again, you'll see a drop down box that says that your coupon has been successfully redeemed. Show the cashier that screen that says your coupon has been successfully redeemed so they'll know that it has been redeemed. After the cashier sees your redeemed coupon screen, then you (or they) can press DONE. 

Your savings will automatically be added to your 'MY SAVINGS' (in the purple box on your dashboard page) only if the coupon has a dollar amount attached to it, like $10 off a $50 purchase. When you redeem that coupon, $10 will automatically be added to your MY SAVINGS.  If your coupon doesn't have a set dollar amount attached to it, but instead a percentage off or a free item, then you'll be asked if you would like to manually add your savings after you redeem that type of coupon. If you do want to add your savings, you'll enter the amount you saved (round up to the nearest dollar. If it's $17.76, then, just add 18 to your savings. No cents) and it will be added to your savings. This is optional, but it will help you more accurately track your savings. 

Simply show your card to your cashier to redeem the coupon offered by each participating local business. Not all coupons are printed on the card.  The card can also be used to redeem the BONUS coupons from more local businesses that are listed on our website. Each business offers one coupon that can be redeemed multiple times until the card expires.

We wanted to keep it small so that you can easily carry it around with you, like a credit card. Even though most of the coupons are not printed on the card, you can still redeem those bonus coupons the same way you would for the coupons printed on the card, just show your cashier.

Yes! The coupons can be redeemed multiple times, but it's is limited to one coupon redemption per business, per day.
